Free gig of the month: Scottish Indie Sampler

In celebration of their release for International Cassette Store day, Gold Mold Records have curated a show at Bloc+ on the 12th of October which will showcase bands affiliated with different collectives and record companies. A combination of both electronic beats dubbed over with rap vocals with Jay Rolex and MC Almond Milk playing on behalf of the Save As collective, while DIY Aberdeen record company Fitlike Records bring the eclectic sounds of The Tryptamines, and representing Gold Mold are the elusive Pillow Talk who, according to their bio, just like “bloody songs,” which is accompanied by pictures of blooded guitars on their feed. With a mix of beats, idiosyncrasy and angst, there’s something for everyone…AND it’s free.
