The Telegraph is giving away two pairs of tickets to the legendary Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party, taking place on Thursday 31 December.
The whole of the Edinburgh’s city centre will be transformed into one huge party arena, featuring four stages with live music from acts including Maxïmo Park, Mercury Prize nominated Slaves, and up and coming Glasgow five piece White.
The crowds will be entertained by 6 Music DJ Craig Charles with a set of the finest Funk ‘n Soul tunes, which will be broadcast on giant screens throughout the street party, while festival favourites Guilty Pleasures will deliver an electrifying cabaret show, fresh from their sell-out run at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
There will be fireworks displays throughout the night building to a spectacular Midnight Moment as fireworks lift from the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle and Calton Hill, while people across the arena join hands for the world’s largest rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
Need to get back to Glasgow after the party? City Link will be running buses from Edinburgh to Glasgow at the end of the night (please note: tickets for this service must be booked in advance).
TO WIN TICKETS, TELL US: Which 6 Music DJ will be providing the soundtrack to this year’s Street Party?
