Want to be part of a student publication entirely written, edited, and produced by students? Want to find out what it’s like working in the media, both in print and online? Then the Strathclyde Telegraph is for you!
All University of Strathclyde students can join us regardless of the subjects they study. You do not need writing or journalism experience, and there is no minimum or maximum commitment! We are all students and know how busy things can get, so if you want to be part of a student media publication in any way, shape, or form alongside your studies, you are welcome here!
If you would like to contribute then fill out the form below to create a writer profile for our website. Please ensure you also join our society via the Strath Union website.
We have contributor groups on Facebook and Instagram through which we give out article pitches for our main sections: news, politics, features, music, culture, lifestyle, sports, and creative writing. But don’t feel limited by these labels – we are open to all ideas and will help you craft these into a story! Just get in touch with us at editor@strathclydetelegraph.com.
We meet several times throughout the semester to allow writers to catch up with the editorial team and discuss pitches, plan editions and socialise – please check our socials for where and when!
