The University of Strathclyde’s student satisfaction survey has risen to 89% this year.
The rise of three per cent puts Strathclyde above the Scottish and national average for overall student satisfaction.
The information gathered from final year undergraduates shows Strathclyde has improved in all eight categories of the survey, including Organisation and Management.
The rating for the student’s union was particularly impressive at 9 per cent above the national average.
Student president Gary Paterson said that the results are “encouraging for all,” but the statistics “only tells part of the story.”
“We are happy with the results and encouraged that the university agrees that it is not the be-all-and-end-all.”
Paterson said: “We are happy with the results for the student union, winning awards and good feedback is great but what is more important is acting on issues effectively and genuinely adding to students experience and time at uni. I am excited about the year ahead and encourage anyone interested to get in touch and get involved!”
