THE University of Strathclyde Sailing Club has announces that they have been successful in their joint bid with Glasgow University Sailing Club to host the British Universities and Colleges Sport Team Racing Championship Playoffs.
GUSC Commodore Charlie Foot says: “It is a great opportunity for the two clubs to develop their cooperation further whilst bringing in both income and recognition to the often sidelined Scottish University sailing circuit.”
The prestigious sailing event will take place on the 3-4th March at Bardowie Loch, Milngavie and will be the final opportunity for teams from across Britain o fight it out for the final coveted spaces at the BUCS Team Racing Championship Finals.
